子どもたちが自然を愛し、自然とともに生きる世代を育む。

北海道の豊かな自然の中で、子どもたちが自然を愛し、自然とともに生きる力を育んでほしい。そんな想いから、杜育実行委員会（もりいく）は2023年に北海道で生まれました。現代の子どもたちは、スクリーンや室内環境で過ごす時間が増え、森や川、雪原、海の不思議に触れる機会が減っています。

実体験を通して親子が自然とつながり、土に触れ、風の音を聞き、雪で遊び、季節の恵みを味わうことで、好奇心・共感・喜びを育む。私たちは、人々が心と体の両方を豊かにしながら、自然と調和して生きる社会を目指します。

は私たちのミッション

子どもたちが自然と遊び、自然から学び、自然とともに成長することを育むこと。北海道の森や海、川、季節の変化に直接触れることで、子どもたちは自信や思いやりを育み、生涯にわたって自然を愛する心を持つようになります。

私たちのアプローチ：8つのテーマと5つの柱

もりいくのプログラムは、木育・土育・花育・火育・水育・雪育・海育・食育の8つの自然テーマを軸に、5つの柱で構成され、学びを楽しく、五感を活かした体験ができるようデザインされています。

1. ワークショッププロジェクト – 自然の中で学ぶ

実体験を通して、好奇心、創造力、感情の成長を育みます。

• 森の散策・生態系ツアー：季節ごとの北海道の森や植物、野生生物をガイドとともに学ぶ。
• アウトドアアドベンチャー：夏のキャンプ、森での宿泊、エコイベントでチームワークと自信を育む。
• 屋内ワークショップ：木工、季節の料理、自然素材を使ったクラフト。
• 季節の学び：冬のスキースクール、春の花観察、夏のBBQ、秋の収穫体験。
• 効果：子どもたちは問題解決力や感情知能を育み、自然との深い関わりを持つようになります。
  

2. ストア運営 – 都市に自然を届ける都市空間で子どもたちに遊びと学びの機会を提供します。

• 遊び場：天然木のおもちゃ、登れる構造物、創造的に遊べるスペース。
• カフェ：親が北海道の食材を楽しみながら、他の家族と交流できるリラックス空間。
• 販売コーナー：地元の木工品、環境に優しい教育用品、モリイクオリジナル商品。
• イベント：専門講師やパートナー企業がワークショップや展示を実施。
• 家族にやさしい環境：子どもと親が安心して遊び、学べる空間を提供。

3. オンライン販売 – 家でも自然体験 森の体験を家庭に届けます。

• 自然をテーマにしたおもちゃ・クラフト：木製パズル、植物栽培キット、科学実験キット。
• 親子アパレル：快適でエコな衣服、外遊びに適したデザイン。
• 季節のキット：冬の雪遊び、夏のガーデン活動、北海道の食材を使ったDIYキット。

4. 政策・地域活動 – 自然・人・社会をつなぐ

• 親子林業プログラム：植樹、森の手入れ、実践型ワークショップ。
• 地域活性化：祭り、自然ツアー、季節のキャンプで地域コミュニティを強化。
• 政策提言：学校や保育現場での野外教育を推進。
• インクルーシブプログラム：自然療法や発達に配慮したワークショップ。
• コミュニティファーム：家族や地域で協力しながら学ぶ農業体験プロジェクト。

5. リサイクル・持続可能性 – 感謝の心を育む

資源を大切にし、環境への意識を育てます。

• 食品ロス削減：イベントやプログラムでの食べ物の分かち合い。
• 素材の再利用：ブランドとの協力による木材や工業素材のリサイクル。
• 衣類・おもちゃ交換：循環型消費を推進し、再利用の価値を学ぶ。
• エコ教育：ワークショップやオンラインキットで生態系や気候について学ぶ。

2023年からの歩み

まだ若いプロジェクトですが、これまでに北海道内で数百人の親子に自然体験を届けてきました。森遊び、アウトドア体験、地域との協働を通して、自然が子どもたちにもたらす「好奇心・共感・喜び」の力を実感しています。この積み重ねが、今後の成長の大きな基盤になっています。

なぜ北海道なのか

北海道の広大な森、川、海岸、雪原は、生きた教室です。子どもたちは自然から直接学び、日本の伝統的な考え方である里山（人と森の調和）や花鳥風月（自然の移ろいから学ぶ美意識）を体感します。北海道に根ざしたプログラムだからこそ、地域ならではの魅力と普遍的な学びを両立できます。

2035年に向けたビジョン：もりいくビレッジ

もりいくは2035年までに、家族が自然の中で学び、遊び、暮らせる「もりいくビレッジ」の実現を目指しています。

ここでは

• 森の中で、人間本来の豊かな生き方を体験
• 伝統的なクラフトや技術の学習
• 季節ごとの自然景観と生物多様性の体験
• ワークショップや祭りを通じた自然との調和の体験

このビジョンは実現可能な目標として、地域コミュニティやパートナー、支援者と共に段階的に成長させていく計画です。

もりいくビレッジは、持続可能な暮らし・環境教育・地域活性化の新しいモデルとなり、子どもも家族も自然も、共に育ち合う未来の拠点となります。

Growing With Nature in Hokkaido

Nurturing a generation that loves and lives with nature.

In today’s world, children often grow up surrounded by screens and indoor spaces, missing the wonder of forests, rivers, snowfields, and the sea. Moriiku, founded in 2023 in Hokkaido, is here to change that.

Through hands-on experiences, children and families reconnect with nature, feeling soil, listening to wind in the trees, touching snow, tasting seasonal foods and in the process, develop curiosity, empathy, and joy. We envision a society where people live harmoniously alongside nature, nurturing both heart and body.

Our Mission

To nurture children who play with nature, learn from it, and grow with it. By engaging directly with Hokkaido’s forests, oceans, rivers, and seasonal cycles, children develop confidence, compassion, and a lifelong love of the natural world.

Our Approach: Eight Themes, Five Pillars

Moriiku’s programs are designed around eight natural themes – forests, soil, flowers, fire, water, snow, the sea, and food and delivered through five key pillars that make learning tangible, fun, and impactful.

1. Workshop Projects, Learning by Doing in Nature

Hands-on experiences nurture curiosity, resilience, and emotional growth.

• Forest walks and ecosystem tours: Guided hikes to discover Hokkaido’s seasonal forests, plants, and wildlife.
• Outdoor adventures: Summer camps, overnight forest stays, snow festivals, and eco-events that build teamwork and confidence.
• Indoor workshops: Woodcraft, pottery, seasonal cooking, and crafts using natural materials.
• Seasonal learning: Ski schools in winter, flower observation in spring, river exploration in summer, and harvest activities in autumn.
• Impact: Children gain problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, and a deeper connection to nature.

2. Store Operations, Bringing Nature Into the City

Urban spaces that inspire exploration and play:

• Play zones: Natural wooden toys, climbing structures, and creative spaces for children.
• Cafés: Relaxing areas where parents can enjoy Hokkaido ingredients and connect with other families.
• Merchandise: Locally crafted woodwork, eco-friendly educational products, and original Moriiku items.
• Community collaboration: Space for partners to showcase products or run events.
• Family-friendly environment: Comfortable, safe spaces for children and parents to explore and enjoy together.

3. Online Sales, Bringing Nature Home

Extending the Moriiku experience beyond the forest:

• Nature-inspired toys and crafts: Wooden puzzles, plant-growing kits, and DIY science experiments.
• Parent-child apparel: Comfortable, eco-conscious clothing that inspires outdoor exploration.
• Seasonal kits: Winter snow projects, summer garden activities, and DIY food kits using Hokkaido ingredients.
• Health products: Honey, salt, teas, and other natural foods sourced locally.

4. Policy & Community Initiatives, Connecting Nature, People, and Society

Creating systems that support nature-based learning and community growth:

• Family forestry programs: Tree planting, forest stewardship, and hands-on workshops.
• Regional revitalization: Festivals, nature tours, and seasonal camps that strengthen local communities.
• Policy advocacy: Promoting outdoor education within schools and childcare.
• Inclusive programs: Nature therapy and workshops for children with developmental differences.
• Community farms: Shared agricultural projects fostering collaboration and life skills.

5. Recycling & Sustainability, Gratitude in Action

Our Journey Since 2023

Even as a young initiative, Moriiku has reached hundreds of children and families across Hokkaido. Through workshops, outdoor adventures, and community collaborations, we have seen firsthand how nature inspires curiosity, empathy, and joy. These early achievements demonstrate both impact and credibility, laying the foundation for future growth.

Why Hokkaido

Hokkaido’s wide forests, rivers, coasts, and snowfields provide a living classroom. Children learn directly from nature, echoing traditional Japanese concepts such as Satoyama, harmony between people and forests and Kacho Fugetsu, learning from the cycles and beauty of the natural world. By grounding our programs in Hokkaido, we create experiences that are uniquely local and universally inspiring.

Looking Ahead: The 2035 Treehouse Village Vision

By 2035, Moriiku aims to create the Treehouse Village, a living forest hub where the community can:

• Stay among the trees in eco-friendly accommodations
• Learn traditional crafts and skills
• Explore seasonal landscapes and local biodiversity
• Celebrate the rhythm of nature through workshops and festivals

This vision is aspirational but achievable, growing step by step through community involvement, partnerships, and support from donors and organizations. The Treehouse Village will model sustainable living, environmental education, and regional revitalization a place where children, families, and nature thrive together.
